NCDEX Tips 29 Feb

Chilli futures gained Tuesday as speculators created fresh positions on the back of rising demand from the domestic as well as overseas buyers.

In NCDEX chilli March contract hits upper circuit at Rs.5572 per quintal, up by 3% against the previous close.

In the morning session the contract traded at a range of Rs.5336-5572 per quintal. Open interest of the contract is 4251 lots and volume traded is 3841 lots for the time being.

Pepper futures traded higher on Tuesday on active buying by the traders on the back of firm spot demand along with weak arrivals from the fresh crop.

In NCDEX pepper March contract traded in the afternoon at Rs.38150 per quintal, up by 3.53 per cent against the previous close.

In the morning session the contract traded at a range of Rs.36700-38320 per quintal. Open interest of the contract is 4260 lots and volume traded is 6912 lots for the time being.
